Ypsigrock reveals 2026 lineup with Dry Cleaning, Cate Le Bon, jasmine.4.t and Black Country, New Road

Sicily festival Ypsigrock has announced the lineup for its 29th edition, with Dry Cleaning, Cate Le Bon, jasmine.4.t and Black Country, New Road among the names heading to the medieval town of Castelbuono this August.

The festival, which takes place from 6-9 August in the Sicilian hilltop town nestled between the Madonie Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, continues its long-standing ‘Ypsi Once’ rule, meaning each artist performs at the event only once in their career.

This year’s programme includes The Antlers, Cate Le Bon, Wednesday, Horsegirl, Friko and Chet Faker, alongside a number of acts yet to be announced across the four-day event. The daily schedule has been carefully curated with no overlapping performances, allowing attendees to catch every set.

Ypsigrock was founded in 1997 by the non-profit Glenn Gould Cultural Association and has grown into one of Europe’s most respected small-scale festivals, with a daily capacity of approximately 2,500 attendees. It has consistently been recognised as a tastemaker within the international indie and alternative scene, drawing coverage from outlets including KEXP, The Guardian, Pitchfork and The Times.

The festival has been shortlisted thirteen consecutive times for Best Small European Festival at the European Festival Awards, making it the first Italian festival ever to receive a nomination in that category. Performances take place across the town’s historic centre, including the medieval castle square, the Cloister of San Francesco and a pinewood stage within a natural reserve.

Since 2021, Ypsigrock has also run The Sound of This Place, an annual artist residency inviting musicians and artists from different disciplines to develop site-specific performances. Alumni include Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Marie Davidson, Penelope Isles and Tara Nome Doyle, alongside visual artists, architects and choreographers.

Tickets for the 29th edition are close to selling out with full festival passes available for €139 and day tickets priced at €56.
