Young Fathers to score soundtrack to 28 Years Later
Scottish trio Young Fathers are set to score the forthcoming Danny Boyle-directed film, 28 Years Later, which stars Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
In a simple post on their socials, in collaboration with Sony Pictures, the band announced the news: "28 Years Later. Directed By Danny Boyle. Written by Alex Garland. Music by Young Fathers. In cinemas June 19th."
The film score follows the release of their 2023 Mercury Prize-nominated album, Heavy Heavy, and the limited edition EP made alongside Massive Attack and Fontaines D.C., which donated all proceeds to MSF emergency operations in Gaza and the West Bank.
28 Days Later is the sequel to the 2007 film, 28 Weeks Later, and will be released on 19 June. For more information, visit 28yearslater.movie.
