Worldpeace DMT announce second LP Stick Around For Tea as they release Flowers Powers mixtape
Irreverent London duo Worldpeace DMT have shared a new mixtape, Flowers Powers, featuring a Joni Mitchell cover, and confirmed that their sophomore album, Stick Around For Tea, is set to arrive in October.
The 11-track mixtape lands today and includes the recently teased single “Lonesome” alongside a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi”. Its release doubles as the formal announcement of the album to follow, and arrives ahead of a run of rescheduled debut US headline dates this autumn.
No further details of Stick Around For Tea have been made available, though the mixtape’s freewheeling energy – track titles include “Pimp My Ride”, “Bigger Than Jesus”, and “Dinosaur Punks” – suggests the LP will pick up where The Velvet Underground and Rowan left off, splicing irreverent pop instincts with an underground sensibility.
Worldpeace DMT began as the solo outlet of Leo Fincham, whose 2024 EP Brass Invaders established the project’s zany palette. Last year’s full-length debut The Velvet Underground and Rowan introduced Rowan Please of The Femcels as a permanent foil, and the pair have since locked into a chaotic, hook-stuffed dynamic. Earlier in 2026 they shared a video for the album track “Love Yourself” and teamed up with Bassvictim for the standalone single “Year of the Dragon”.
The duo will finally make it to the States in October, having rescheduled their first headline shows. The run now begins with two nights at Baby’s All Right in New York on 20 and 21 October, followed by Los Angeles dates at Scribble (23 October) and Oblivion (24 October), then a single Chicago show at Schubas on 27 October.
