wing! unveils jazz-infused track, "GET UP AND GO OUT"
Composer and producer wing! has released "GET UP AND GET OUT", the second preview of his upcoming second EP, WORTH SCANNING FOR.
"GET UP AND GO OUT" follows previous single "HOLD THEM TO IT" released last month, offering the latest glimpse into a collection of songs formed by chopped up breaks and ambient synths, in a continued collaboration between wing!, bassist Kai Charlton and drummer Joe Killick.
Speaking about the single, wing! shares, “This song means the most to me out of anything I’ve made I think. I can only describe this one as a new life…I remember seeing [live drummer] Joe playing this groove on an Instagram post, and just begged him to send it to me. It floored me immediately with its urgency and ferocity, yet still so euphoric and dance-able. It just gave me so much room to explore.”
WORTH SCANNING FOR is released on 15 June via Memorials Of Distinction
