Will Linley announces forthcoming debut album, Don’t Cry Because It’s Over
South-African singer-songwriter Will Linley has announced his forthcoming debut album, Don’t Cry Because It’s Over, alongside the release of new single, "First Love".
“I wrote ‘First Love’ at the end of my first breakup. The song captures the questions in your head after a relationship. I had to come to terms with the fact that my first girlfriend had to put up with me learning how to love. I’ve come to realize the first time you do anything, you don’t get it right. Sadly, that includes love,” Will Linley explains.
The forthcoming debut album, Don’t Cry Because It’s Over, follows Will Linley's previous releases, kill all my feelings EP (2022) and magic EP (2023).
Don’t Cry Because It’s Over will be released on 5 September via Island Records, and is available to pre-order now.
