WILDES and St Francis Hotel reveal new collaboration, "In The Floodlight"
WILDES and St Francis Hotel have revealed the new track, "In The Floodlight", the final taste of their collaborative EP, Kopfkino.
"This song chronicles adolescence into adulthood, and the many versions of ourselves that live and die on the way to uncovering our true nature," WILDES explains. "Each verse represents a different period in my twenties, as I grew and fought against who I wanted to be, and who I was told I should be. Despite all of the experiences that change our outlook and values in life, there always remains a little seed of who we were in our youth, before life's complexities appear, and for me that is deeply reassuring."
The forthcoming EP, Kopfkino finds the two artists reuniting after St Francis Hotel produced WILDES' debut full length, Other Words Fail Me. "In The Floodlight" follows the previously released title track and "Are You Gonna Speak?".
Kopfkino, is set for release on 19 February 2025.
