The official trailer for I Wanna Dance With Somebody, the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic starring Naomi Ackie, has arrived.

Back in 2020 it was revealed that the Whitney Houston Estate was developing a biopic on the late star which would be written by Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Theory Of Everything), and today (15 September) the official trailer has landed, and shows Naomi Ackie (Yardie, The End of the F***ing World) in the lead role for the Kasi Lemmons-directed film.

The biopic is produced by music executive Clive Davis, who is played by Stanley Tucci in the film.

I Wanna Dance With Somebody is due to arrive in cinemas from 21 December.
