Way Out West reveal first wave of artists for 2026 — The Cure, Gorillaz, and Ravyn Lenae
The Cure, Gorillaz, and Ravyn Lenae have been announced as the first names for Way Out West 2026.
Following a record-breaking turnout for 2025, Way Out West will be returning for its eighteenth edition at Slottsskogen Park in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 13–15 August 2026.
Today, they have revealed the first wave of acts: The Cure, Gorillaz, and Ravyn Lenae, with more than 120 artists still to be announced. The festival will also feature artist talks, DJ sets, and film screenings, as well as providing an entirely vegetarian food programme.
Next year, Gothenburg will become the United Nations’ global Sustainable Lifestyle Hub, as announced during the recent UN General Assembly in New York. In line with this, Way Out West continues to be recognised as one of Europe’s most sustainable festivals, maintaining a no-single-use-plastic policy and a model for tracking carbon impact across the event.
