Watch SPRINTS cover Le Tigre live in session for The Line of Best Fit
Dublin four-piece SPRINTS perform a cover of Le Tigre's "Deceptacon" live in session for Best Fit in collaboration with Crouch End Studios.
"Kathleen Hanna and the Riot Grrl movement have had a pretty obvious influence on SPRINTS but the lo-fi electronic playfulness of Le Tigre always made their records a staple on any of our tour, van and travel playlists," lead vocalist Karla Chubb tells Best Fit. "It’s a cover we’ve played across the UK and the USA, through stage invasions and collaborations. It felt like the perfect choice for our cover track and is just a lot of fun to scream along to."
SPRINTS, who released their debut album Letter To Self in January, will play Dolans Warehouse in Limerick City, Ireland on Thursday (18 April). The band will head back on the road for their biggest headline shows to date in November, which includes a night at London's O2 Kentish Town Forum on 13 November.
