Watch Nuha Ruby Ra cover Psychic TV live in session for Best Fit
London's Nuha Ruby Ra performs a cover of Psychic TV's "Hookah Chalice" live in session exclusively for Best Fit in collaboration with Crouch End Studios.
"This is "Hookah Chalice" reimagined with improvised teachings from the Vicious Collective manifestos," Nuha Ruby Ra tells Best Fit of the song choice. "I’m a big Psychic TV fan, this is one of their lesser known songs but one of my favourites, I’ve wanted to cover it for years. I got a band together of good friends that are great artists and also big Psychic TV fans to help me with this homage. You must experiment with yourself and others."
The session follows Nuha Ruby Ra's six-track 2023 EP Machine Like Me. On 9 February she plays Grauzone Festival in the Netherlands, as well as Hybrid Festival on 24 February. Visit nuharubyra.com for more information.
