Vinyl variants of Olivia Rodrigo's latest album GUTS contain four bonus tracks

On 6 September, just before the release of GUTS, Rodrigo shared a parody advert which recommends the album to those who “regularly suffer from the agony” of spilling their guts to strangers or who struggle with trusting their guts. Towards the end of the video, the album’s track list appears onscreen and scrolls from top to bottom.

At first glance, it resembles the list confirmed by Rodrigo earlier this year, until the screen glitches for a split second, revealing what look to be the titles of four new tracks before they disappear: “Obsessed,” “Scared of My Guitar,” “Stranger” and “Girl I’ve Always Been.”

It has now been revealed that each of these songs is a hidden track on a different colour variant of the GUTS vinyl. The purple vinyl features “Girl I’ve Always Been,” the black vinyl and red has “Obsessed,” white includes “Scared of My Guitar,” and “Stranger" appears on the blue variant.

During a recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Rodrigo revealed that she had recorded around 25 songs during the GUTS sessions. She also hinted at these four surprise tracks.

“I think some of them will definitely see the light of day. I don’t know. In crafting an album track list, there’s just intricacies. Like, oh, too many of these songs and I want to save this for later, and stuff like that. So I bet some of them will see the light of day," she said.
