Viagra Boys share new single, "Uno II"
Stockholm post-punk band Viagra Boys have shared "Uno II" as the latest preview their new album, viagr aboys.
“Uno II” redirects vocalist Sebastian Murphy’s take on conspiratorial anxiety—shifting from human meat bags to finding it embodied in his beloved dog. The Italian greyhound, Uno II, spent a year going back and forth to the vet with dental issues, and Murphy couldn’t help but imagine what the dog must be thinking. “He goes to this place, then wakes up in some weird room, and he’s missing his teeth,” he says.
The song arrives with a video where Shrimptech Enterprises' star journalist, Sebastian Murphy is sent on assignment to cover a seemingly innocent dog show in Eastern Europe. But as the trip unfolds, he finds himself under constant surveillance, shadowed by unseen forces, slipping deeper into paranoia and madness. His Croatian veterinarian may hold the key to his fate—but is he a sinister manipulator or a desperate ally? As reality fractures, the story spirals into a gonzo journalistic glitch, blurring the line between truth and delusion.
Directed by Sebastian Murphy and André Jofré, “Uno II” was recorded guerrilla-style across Czechia, Finland, and Sweden.
viagr aboys will be released on 25 April via their newly launched label Shrimptech Enterprises.
