Vanessa Bedoret reveals plans for second album, About Time

03 September 2026, 12:45 | Written by Kayla Sandiford

London-based French artist Vanessa Bedoret has announced her new album, About Time, and shared lead single "See, Saw".

About Time follows Bedoret's 2024 debut Eyes, with new song "See, Saw" offering the first taster of the album. Speaking about the track, the singer explains: "'See, Saw' is about how differently we perceive the passing of time. Enjoyable moments seem to disappear very quickly, while difficult, boring or uneventful moments can feel extremely long. Yet those slower moments also have value and there is something to learn from them."

"The title plays with the idea of a seesaw: our perception constantly moving between different experiences of time," she continues. "It's funny because I realised that after choosing the title and writing the lyrics."

Bedoret began classical training at six years old and finished at eighteen, before going on to play guitar and bass in punk bands, later finding herself inspired by dance-led sounds. The album reflects a series of changes in Bedoret's life, capturing different phases of transition, expanding beyond her own music as well as collaborations with Astrid Sonne, Space Afrika, Blackhaine and Mark William Lewis.
