Tyler Ballgame releases new single, "Matter of Taste"
Tyler Ballgame has shared new single, "Matter of Time", the latest preview of his upcoming debut album For the First Time, Again.
"Matter of Time" follows previously released singles "I Believe in Love" and "Got a New Car". The track sees Tyler Ballgame navigate feeling a desire for love, while learning how to accept that it is okay not to receive it. “That’s not a rejection of me as a person, it’s just a matter of taste,” Ballgame comments. The new song also comes ahead of an extensive tour across the UK/EU and United States, which will kick off in Bristol with a run of dates supporting St. Paul and the Broken Bones before playing a series of solo in stores, including London's Rough Trade East (31 January), Rough Trade West (1 February), Brighton's Resident Music (3 February), London's Banquet Records (4 February), and Leeds' Jumbo Music (5 February).
For the First Time, Again is due for release on 30 January 2026 via Rough Trade Records
