Turnover announce new album, Down On Earth
Turnover have revealed the details of their upcoming album, Down On Earth, and shared two new songs, "Nightjar" and "I See You And Realize".
Down On Earth is the band's first new full-length release in four years, following their 2022 album Myself in The Way, and a 10-year anniversary deluxe edition of their 2015 album Peripheral Vision, which dropped last May. New singles “Nightjar” and “I See You and Realize” teases a fresh musical perspective from the Virginia band guided by their early experimentation in dream-pop, psychedelia, and alt-rock.
After more a decade on Run For Cover Records, Turnover decided to release Down On Earth independently. The album features the band'slongtime front-of-house engineer Zac Montez on production, aiming to capture the energy of their live show on record as they explore new experiences and lessons learned about love, death, loneliness and the afterlife.
