Tramhaus announce new album, Blister
Rotterdam indie-rock outfit Tramhaus have revealed the details of their upcoming album, Blister, and shared new single "Plovdiv".
Blister follows Tramhaus' 2024 debut album, The First Exit, with "Plovdiv" being the first preview of the new collection of songs. Discussing the single, the band share: “'Plovdiv' is a song about our experiences on tour, as an ode to the people and places we get to know along the way, gaining a network of friends that span the entire globe. But it is also a story about how to keep sane while on the road, how to ride that wave of intensity, surrendering to losing control."
Blister sees Tramhaus processing eighteen months of touring across three continents, pushing for a sense of patience, community, and the development of global friendships to keep them grounded. Honouring the international network of collaborators that they've developed over the past five years as a band, the album will be released in collaboration with six separate independent labels across six European countries.
The band currently have a stacked schedule of live dates across the United Kingdom and Europe planned for the rest of this year, including their biggest festival slot yet at Best Kept Secret in The Netherlands on 13 June, and shows supporting Irish band Gurriers on their UK tour.
