"There’s no good advice on this album": Tove Lo announces new record Estrus

14 May 2026, 07:30 | Written by Best Fit

Tove Lo has revealed her sixth studio album Estrus will drop this September and released the lead single “I’m your girl right?”

“Estrus is an animal in heat," explains Lo. "It’s primal. It’s my mind and my body wanting different things, wanting everything. There’s no good advice on this album… just a lot of feelings, no solutions.”

The 13-track LP was recorded in Los Angeles, Stockholm, and a small fishing village in Sweden where the Swedish singer spent summers as a child. It features a collaboration with Belgian artist Stromae and was produced by longtime collaborator Ludvig Söderberg alongside Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser, who has worked with Addison Rae.

The video for “I’m your girl right?” was shot outside São Paulo in a former monastery and features over 70 dancers. It marks the second time Tove Lo has worked with director Nogari, following 2023’s “Borderline”.

Lo has also announced European dates to support the record, which kick off in Manchester on 5 November and include a London show at Brixton Academy. Fans can sign up for presale at tove-lo.com.
