Toni Sancho details new EP, Declare Me Dead
Toni Sancho has announced details of a new EP, Declare Me Dead, alongside the release of its title track.
“To be engulfed in darkness is a difficult thing but we must acknowledge that this can happen to any of us. Sometimes we can allow negativity to seep into our body and mind so profoundly that we must say goodbye to parts of ourselves completely it in order to move forward at all,” Toni Sancho explains.
“Sometimes certain parts of you cannot come along, and sometimes you must let parts of you die. This is what this record represents. I have struggled deeply to conquer myself even before this journey of music, and sometimes it just takes a really long time to learn a certain lesson.
“I wrote this song two years ago now, but in some strange way as I am putting this out now, there is no truer piece of work that can represent what I am going through both as an artist and a person. It is all truly aligned and is my deepest honour to be experiencing this and sharing it with people,” she continues.
To celebrate the EP’s release next month, Toni will headline The Forge at The Lower Third in London on 8 August.
Declare Me Dead will be released on 8 August. Tickets for Toni Sancho's headline show are on sale now.
