Tomorrow Woman details debut EP, Plays Machines

10 March 2026, 14:05 | Written by Kayla Sandiford

Tomorrow Woman, the project of California-born, Paris-based artist Betsy Roszko, has announced her debut EP Plays Machines, and shared lead single “Honey Factory”.

After over a decade as bassist and vocalist of post-punk band Gomme, and a seven-year hiatus from releasing music, Plays Machines is set to arrive as Roszko‘s first solo work. It sees her explore the world of electronic music, with “Honey Factory” arriving as the first preview.

Discussing the track, Roszko explains: "'Honey Factory' is a fever-dream fantasy of burning it all down. I was thinking about this idea of being a bee in someone else’s machine, and how luxury today feels dystopian."

Plays Machines was written and recorded entirely by Roszko, mixed by Saguiv Rosenstock (YHWH Nailgun) and mastered by Heba Kadry (Björk, Blood Orange). With dance being the core theme, the collection of songs draws upon years of Roszko studying contemporary choreography and spending time at the Centre National de Danse archive, drawing inspiration from choreographers in contemporary ballet and modern dance such as Alvin Ailey, Crystal Pite, and William Forsythe.
