Tkay Maidza unveils new song "Nights In December"
Tkay Maidza has treated fans to a new single titled "Nights In December".
The new track is Tkay Maidza's first outing since recruiting JPEGMAFIA to feature on a remix of "High Beams" last month, and arrives amid her opening slot on Dua Lipa's Australia tour.
According to a press release, "Nights In December" is a "love letter to winter in New York City".
Tkay Maidza says of the track, "I thought it would be cool to make a song that captures the feeling of a new relationship but using wintertime in New York as the inspiration. I had a trip where I spent a winter in New York, and it was really beautiful so I almost wanted to recreate that feeling in a song."
She's yet to follow up her July 2021 EP Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3.
