Tiny Habits unveil new song, “Love Ruins Everything”
Tiny Habits have released “Love Ruins Everything”, the latest single from their upcoming album, Keepers.
“Love Ruins Everything” follows a slew of previous singles including “Anything He Was” featuring Matty Healy, “Right In Front Of Me”, and “Belt Loop”. The track sees the trio shifting between the different emotional pulls of wanting to be in a relationship while single, but also longing for independence while in one.
Speaking about the track, the band share: “Love ruins everything! Scream it from the rooftops! Imagine, you're the only single person in a bar on Valentine's Day, you look across the table and see nothing but a cracked leather booth. Your loneliness makes your drink taste like gasoline. Love ruins everything. Or you're finally in love with the person of your dreams. He's perfect. You're so excited that you forget that all your friends exist. But.... then he breaks up with you. Now you're going to miss the girls trip to Cancun. Love Ruins Everything. We either want to be in love or desperately wish it had never happened to us. And though it can be deliciously wonderful, love, also, ruins everything.”
Keepers is released on 28 August via Mom+Pop Music
