The Strokes release new single, “Falling out of Love”
The Strokes have released "Falling out of Love", the second single from their upcoming album, Reality Awaits.
"Falling out of Love" follows lead single "Going Shopping" as the latest preview of the band's first new music since their 2020 album, The New Abnormal. The song is set to premiere tomorrow (14 Wednesday) night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, as one of the show's final performances before the show ends next week.
The Strokes are gearing up for a world tour beginning just ahead of the album's release, kicking off with an appearance at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on 12 June. In addition to a series of headline shows in North America, the UK, Europe, South America, and Japan, they will also be performing at Primavera Sound Fauna, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo.
Reality Awaits is released on 26 June via RCA Records
