The Sophs announce debut album, GOLDSTAR

The announcement follows previous singles “I’M YOUR FRIEND”, “SWEAT”, and “DEATH IN THE FAMILY” which dropped last year, as well as the band’s signing to Rough Trade Records.

Speaking of the title track, released today, Ethan Ramon explains: “‘GOLDSTAR’ is the worst person you know yelling at God to give them a sign that they are good. In a deliberately unserious way, we want the song to prompt the same question that the album raises, which is - if you are a good person for the wrong reasons, does that detract from your goodness?”

The Sophs are also set to tour extensively through the year across the US, UK, and Europe, with festival slots at Treefort, Primavera Sound Barcelona and Porto, and more.
