The New Eves' Nina Winder-Lind shares solo single, “This is Our Life”

Though widely known as a guitarist, cellist, and vocalist in the "Hagstone rock" band, WInder-Lind has previously released solo work, including her three-track EP The Spirit Is Carnal in 2023, and her first poetry collection Röd Ska Jag Leva in 2025. "This Is Our Life" arrives as her first new music of 2026.

Speaking about the song, Winder-Lind explains: “'This is Our Life' almost wrote itself. I was in my family’s cabin in the north of Sweden when it happened. Equipped with an acoustic guitar, a violin and a zoom mic I went into a shed and made a quick demo. It was sparse but at the same time it was all there already. I was surprised that I seemed to have written a pop song but apparently that needed to happen.

I wrote This is Our Life about someone very close to me and then realised it could actually be about quite a few people in my life. It recognises the mental and sometimes physical struggle of being a creative person but it also celebrates the forces that keep us going. When we play it with the band I feel so happy. We dance. We enter joyous abandon. We declare pride and wild love.”
