The Cure announce "ALONE" as lead single of their first new album in 16 years
The Cure have announced the release of "ALONE – the first preview of SONGS OF A LOST WORLD, their first new record in sixteen years.
The announcement comes just days after it had been revealed that The Cure were teasing a forthcoming release via sending postcards to fans with the words 'Songs Of A Lost World' written on it, alongside the date 1/11/24.
Last month, The Cure announced their first new material in 16 years, The Cure - Novembre: Live In France 2022, a double A-side vinyl single featuring two live tracks recorded during the French leg of The Cure’s ‘Shows of a Lost World’ tour.
Songs Of A Lost Word, the rumoured new album from The Cure, is said to be released on 1 November. The lead single, "ALONE" is set for release on 26 September.
