The Black Keys return with new single, "The Night Before"
The Black Keys – Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney – have shared the brand new single, "The Night Before".
The duo wrote the song with the Grammy Award-winning songwriter Daniel Tashian.
"We’ve never really worked with songwriters like that in Nashville," Patrick Carney says. "It’s crazy because Daniel was one of the first people I met when I moved to town over a decade ago. But we pushed ourselves to bring in some new co-writers, and we really tapped into something cool with Daniel. We’re finishing up the album now and plan to release more tracks leading into the tour."
The Black Keys will release their thirteenth studio album, No Rain, No Flowers, later this year. The project is especially personal for The Black Keys, who were forced to cancel their 2024 North American ‘International Players’ tour following an emotional dispute with their former management company. The Black Keys will embark on a run of major outdoor summer shows in the UK with support from Miles Kane.
"The Night Before" is out now via Easy Eye Sound / Warner Records.
