The Avalanches team up with Jamie xx on new single, "Every Single Weekend"
The Avalanches have released their new track, "Every Single Weekend", featuring Jamie xx.
"Every Single Weekend" follows previous single "Together" featuring Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza, and Prentiss, released last month. It arrives as the latest in a string of earlier collaborations with Jamie xx on "Wherever You Go" and "All You Children", and was originally featured as an interlude on the producer's 2024 album In Waves.
Speaking about the new song and collaboration with Jamie xx, The Avalanches share, "We’ve loved collaborating with Jamie xx over the years - his In Colour album reignited our passion for sampling, and this track is all about letting go, forgetting the 9-5 grind and enjoying every single weekend."
