Temples announce Other Structures EP featuring unheard deep cuts from their debut album
Temples have announced details of the release of the Other Structures EP - featuring six unreleased and remixed tracks from their 2014 debut album, Sun Structures.
Talking about "Days Of Conquest", James Bagshaw, Temples’ lyricist and front man, said: "'Day Of Conquest’ was part of the Sun Structures album demos, it probably would have been on the album but we ran out of run time on the LP. I remember being fond of this song, and it was a pleasant surprise to go back and unearth the sonic layering. I love how the sections contrast in an interesting way, and the fact there isn’t really a chorus."
The six-track EP is made up of unreleased tracks taken from sessions for the psych-drenched band’s debut 2014 album Sun Structures, as well as two remixes of their single "Shelter Song" by Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno and Robert Leven Been aka Robert Turner of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
Tracklist:
- Day Of Conquest
- Ankh
- Jewel Of Mine Eye
- Prisms
- Shelter Song - Robert Been Remix - Temples Robert Levon Been
- Shelter Song S.L.P Remix - Temples Serge Pizzorno
Other Structures EP will be released on Friday 4 October, and is available to pre-save now.
