Last month, Taylor Swift announced that TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR will be released on 13 October across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Today she has announced the global release of the concert film via her social media accounts. Swift wrote: "The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide…….. Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!"

TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR concert film is expected to be available in more than 100 countries, debuting on 13 October. It is set to screen at every ODEON Cinemas location throughout UK & Europe.

In a nod to Taylor Swift's 1989 album and her favourite number, 13, tickets in the UK and Ireland will be priced at £19.89 for adults and £13.13 for children. The first screening kicks off at 6pm on 13 October, and the concert film will play multiple showtimes at cinemas on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to meet the anticipated demand.

The film was recorded over the first three of six nights that Swift played at the SoFi stadium in California in August. In its first day of pre-sales, during its initial announcement, the concert film amassed a record $37m (£30.3m). It is being directed by Sam Wrench, whose previous work includes; Brandi Carlile's In the Canyon Haze Live, Billie Eilish Live at the O2, Lizzo: Live in Concert, and BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage.

The running time is listed as two hours and 45 minutes, which is slightly shorter than Swift's set length which usually ran at about three hours and 15 minutes. After the concert film was released, The Exorcist remake changed its release date to avoid competing Swift.

Tickets are on sale now (26 September) For details on screenings at ODEON cinemas, visit odeon.co.uk.
