Tallinn Music Week reveals full line-up for 2026 edition

Tallinn Music Week has announced the full line-up for its 18th edition, featuring 186 artists from 38 countries, to take place between 9-12 April 2026 in the capital of Estonia.

Tallinn Music Week is set to take place across multiple venues to host the sprawling line-up, which will feature 80 artists from Estonia, including punk band J.M.K.E., soul singer and composer Rita Ray, blues duo Kaisa Ling & René Paul, and more. In collaboration with Estonian Music Days Festival, there will also be two special concerts, with the Girls' Choir Ellerhein presenting new pieces by composers Mariliis Valkonen and Kristo Matson, while Tallinn Chamber Orchestra will perform at Club HALL with soloists Vambola Krigul and Joonas Mikk for a performance called "The Birth of Light".

In addition to local acts, several international artists will perform throughout the week, with the highest number of acts (26) coming from Finland. Among the international roster are Ziferblat, who represented Ukraine in Eurovision last year, Led by Amnesty laureate and Ukrainian-Canadian singer Marichka, Finnish pop artist Goldielocks, Latvian darkwave outfit the body of a swan, Canadian fusion artist Ammoye, London desert rock band The Howlers, and more.

Finalists from the Heavy Music Band Battle competition, announced in March, will also be added to the 2026 line-up.

Estonian curators for Tallinn Music Week 2026 include Damn.Loud, Estonian Choral Association, Estonian Music Days, Estonian Heavy Music Association, Fenno-Ugria, Funk Embassy, Glitch Please, I Land Sound, Jazz Union, Kurvad Uudised, Legendaarne Raadio, OOPUS, Paavli Culture Factory, Reivile Minuga, Roots Session, Tier Music, UNESCO City of Music Tallinn, Viljandi Folk Music Festival, Võnge Festival, Üle Heli Festival.

International curators Blowup, Cindy & Kate, Classical:NEXT, LONA Musik, Music Cities Network, Music Finland, Playground Music, Skaņu Mežs, Stupido Records, Yugofuturism; Talentcoach with Icons Creating Evil Art, MTA Production, BD Pop, and Sensus; Women in Music Canada with Estonian Music Week and VEMU museum, have also contributed to shaping this year's music programme.
