Talk The Line, Best Fit's podcast about obsessions and fascinations, returns for a third season
In our podcast Talk The Line we speak to brilliant people about the beautiful detours that make a creative life interesting – those unusual fascinations and obsessions that sometimes lie far away from their day job as musicians, directors, comedians and actors.
The show – which originally ran for two seasons and included the likes of Julien Baker, RAYE, Johnny Flynn, Martine McCutcheon, Interpol, Sir Tom Jones and Beverly Glenn-Copeland among its guests – returns this week with a brand new host: resident artist and curious interviewer Emmeline Armitage.
For our return episode, Emmeline talks with British–Indian BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Karan Kandhari about his life-long fascination with ancient Greece. As a writer and direct, Karan is best known for his award-winning short film Hard Hat and feature-length directorial debut Sister Midnight, which premiered in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and earned him a BAFTA nomination the following year.
