Swiss singer-songwriter NNAVY announces debut album I'll Wait For You

The 12-track record moves through R&B, soul, and jazz, turning private reckonings with love, loss, and self-worth into something apt for a roomful of people. “Slowly Burning” arrived in late June as the album’s opening statement, and NNAVY describes the song as a response to a particular kind of dread.

“This song was born from a feeling of impending doom,” she says. “I’m in my late twenties, and it often feels like the world is burning around us. I wanted to write a song for one last ride on the carousel - if the sun didn’t rise again tomorrow, then let’s dance, let’s laugh, let’s have fun one last time.”

I’ll Wait For You follows a run of singles and stretches across themes of grief, resilience, and desire. It is the first full-length from an artist who has steadily grown an international audience without label machinery behind her.

NNAVY will spend much of the rest of the year on the road in Switzerland, with dates in Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne and Davos across the summer, autumn and winter.
