Swapmeet release new single, "Halfway", and announce world tour
Swapmeet have released "Halfway", the final single from their upcoming debut album, Mount Zero, and announced headline shows across the UK, US, and Australia.
"Halfway" follows earlier singles "I Know!", "2 C U", and "Sand", as another glimpse into a work that turns the regrets and uncertainties of adulthood into a sense of growing confidence.
Speaking about "Halfway", the band share that the track “looks at the first confrontations with change. The first confrontations with loss, and every choice feeling like a mistake. When you finally realise things can’t truly ever return to how they once were.”
The band are also set to embark on an extensive tour kicking off in Adelaide, Australia on 4 September, continuing through North America in October, before concluding in the UK and Europe in November, with stops in Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, an appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival London, and more.
Mount Zero is released on 17 July via Winspear
