Stella Mozgawa, Robin Finck and more feature on new Chelsea Wolfe album, The Dark
Chelsea Wolfe has revealed plans for her upcoming ninth album, The Dark, and shared lead single, "Cold".
"Cold" opens the collection of songs, which are formed around mystery, symbolism, and the concept of entering the woods at the darkest point and becoming the thing you fear to feel more brave. The album is Wolfe's first full-length release since her 2024 album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, and was developed with co-writer Jennifer Decilveo and long-time collaborator Ben Chisholm.
Across ten tracks, The Dark also features contributions from Nine Inch Nails touring musician Robin Finck, session drummer Matt Chamberlain, known for his work with Pearl Jam, Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa, and more.
Ahead of the album's release, Wolfe will be kicking off an extensive tour beginning in London at The Dome on 18 August, with further stops across North America and Europe.
