Sophia Stel details debut album, the greatest album of all time
Vancouver-based artist Sophia Stel has announced her self-produced first album, the greatest album of all time, and shared new single "I Do".
the greatest album of all time follows previous EPs Object Permanence and How To Win at Solitaire, and has been teased with earlier singles “Bitches Talk Shit”, “Molly In The Club”, and “Now I’ve Got A Lot You Know” — with trance club track "I Do" arriving as the fourth preview.
"The album is about believing in yourself and believing in love and is dedicated to my brothers Luke and Royce," says Stel of the greatest album of all time, which sees her sound expanding beyond contemporary pop with rave anthems and ambient sounds.
In addition to releasing her debut album, Stel will also be performing at A.G. Cook and PC Music's POP CRYPT event at Knockdown Center in Brooklyn this October, before closing out the year at Primavera Sound in Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
