Solange to debut first ballet score in September

It's been revealed that Solange will compose an original score for Gianna Reisen's upcoming ballet that is due to premiere during the Fall Fashion Gala at New York City Ballet in Spetember.

As The New York Times reports, Solange's first ballet score was confirmed by New York City Ballet yesterday (15 August), and according to the piece, Solange's score will be composed for a chamber ensemble that will feature some of Solange's collaborators and some people from the City Ballet orchestra.

Solange is yet to follow up her 2019 album When I Get Home.

Solange's first ballet score will premiere during the Fall Fashion at Gala New York City Ballet on 28 September.
