Snail Mail unveils new song, "Tractor Beam"
Snail Mail has released "Tractor Beam", the opening track from her upcoming third album, Ricochet.
"Tractor Beam" was first debuted on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. It follows previous singles "My Maker" and "Dead End", and sees Snail Mail — aka Lindsey Jordan — exploring dissociation, taking partial inspiration from Greg Araki’s 2004 film Mysterious Skin. The track lands alongside a video shot on a New Jersey sheep farm and directed by Jordan and Elsie Richter.
Following the release of Ricochet, Snail Mail is set to embark on a world tour, kicking off on 10 April. The tour will include ten UK dates, which includes two shows at London's Electric Ballroom, and an appearance at Outbreak Festival in Manchester.
Ricochet is released on 27 March via Matador
