Sluice announce third album, Companion
North Carolina four-piece Sluice have announced their new album, Companion, and shared lead single, "Beadie".
The new album is a follow-up to Sluice's 2023 second album Radial Gate, and marks their first release on Mtn Laurel Recording Co. (Colin Miller, Elijah Wolf). Alongside the announcement, the band have released the first preview of the upcoming album, "Beadie".
Speaking on the track, Sluice explain: "Beadie is a bird’s eye trip through relationships, fictional and non. Television partnerships, the shadow of our parents, and honey bees are all fodder for this song about attacking loneliness from within and without. Recommended pairings: Joe Pera talks with you S2e13, The Wire S2e1, Bruce Springsteen’s The River, and a strong assam w/ a tablespoon of buckwheat honey."
Companion is released on 27 March via Mtn Laurel Recording Co.
