Slow Pulp release new song “Not for Nothing" and announce UK/EU tour dates
Slow Pulp have shared "Not for Nothing", the latest preview of their upcoming third album, Melodie, and announced a tour of the UK and Europe.
Following lead single "Better Man", "Not for Nothing" arrives as a piano song that guitarist Henry Stoehr wrote about a series of heartbreaks. The track also arrives alongside a video shot on film, directed by Ben Turok.
Speaking about the song, Stoehr explains: "This song is me just trying to externalize very complex emotions - of feeling stuck, of not being able to change how I feel, of my emotions permeating my life, and the heartbreak of my life changing in ways both unexpected by myself and by others. I feel so many people have felt something similar, and I wanted to write a song that would reach people where they are, and give them something concrete to grasp onto in the midst of a feeling that is hard to put into words."
In January 2027, Slow Pulp are set to hit the road for a run of live shows throughout the UK/EU, beginning in Berlin on 21 January. They will continue through Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, and more, concluding with a show at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town in February.
Melodie is released on 18 September via ANTI-
