Shygirl celebrates ALIAS 5th anniversary with ALIAS is ME announcement
Shygirl has announced that she will continue ALIAS fifth anniversary celebrations with ALIAS is ME; an EP featuring seven reworks from collaborators and peers.
“After 5 years I really wanted to go back to what inspired me the most at that time which was collaborating with artists who inspire me, people who I think are pushing boundaries and being bold sonically,” Shygirl notes.
ALIAS is ME represents Shygirl’s latest creative endeavour designed to celebrate five years of ALIAS, and will feature collaborations with JT, Alex Chapman, Amnesia Scanner, EQ, George Riley, Nick Leon, Sega Bodega, Skuzland and TDJ.
Last month, as part of the Because Beaubourg, Shygirl hosted a multi-media installation at the Centre Pompidou which saw her transform the record’s core themes of identity, intimacy, and distortion into a multi-sensory environment. Visitors moved through a series of body-inspired installations that blurred boundaries between anatomy, sound, and memory.
