Shania Twain becomes Little Miss Twain at intimate London show
Canadian country-pop legend Shania Twain traded festival main stages and stadiums for an east London sweatbox last night as she spiritually returned to her youth at the Shacklewell Arms.
Playing host to 200 revellers fully adorned in cowboy hats and bandanas, Twain took those in attendance down memory lane, choosing to return to the intimacy of her very first performances as a child. All in the spirit of her forthcoming new album Little Miss Twain, Shania opened with the lead single from the album "Dirty Rosie", setting the tone for an hour of hits, covers, and stories from the genesis of her career.
Despite the narrative link to the new record, there wasn’t much room for unfamiliar material, as Shania and her four-piece band tore through classics such as "You’re Still The One", "That Don’t Impress Me Much", "I’m Gonna Getcha Good" and more, including a stomping cover of "Cotton Eye Joe".
Twain’s next performance is in a slightly larger setting, with her supporting Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium, starting on 13 June. Her new album Little Miss Twain is released on 24 July 2026.
