Sera Cahoone to return with new album, I’ve Missed You All These Years
Sarah Cass has revealed the details of her upcoming album, I’ve Missed You All These Years, and released new single, “Pulling Up Roots”.
The announcement follows Cahoone’s signing to Sub Pop and the release of her previous single, “Say Something”. Today, she shares new single “Pulling Up Roots”, alongside a video directed by E. Ryan McMackin.
Discussing the single, Cahoone shares, “‘Pulling Up Roots’ is about getting to the other side and experiencing growth and momentum after a challenging time.”
I’ve Missed You All These Years was co-produced by Sera Cahoone and John Morgan Askew at Bear Creek Studios, with mixing by Askew at Scenic Burrows and mastering by JJ Golden at Golden Mastering. The album brings together Cahoone’s long-nurtured palette of blues, folk, pop, and country, to compile what’s described as “a celebration of life rooted in its fleeting nature”.
