Sebastian Schub announces autumn headline tour with new single “Haven’t Found Love”
Hamburg-born, London-based singer-songwriter Sebastian Schub has released a new track, “Haven’t Found Love”, as he readies his first full-length record. The single lands alongside the announcement of a nine-date UK and European tour this October.
“Haven’t Found Love” maps the loneliness of a city that feels socially frayed. Schub road-tested the song on a recent run of intimate “early versions” shows across the UK and Paris.
The tour will scale up considerably. A Dublin date at Academy 2 opens the run on 3 October, followed by Glasgow’s King Tut’s, Manchester’s Deaf Institute, and a London show at EartH Theatre on 7 October. Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach comes next, then Paris, Cologne, Berlin and a hometown finale at Hamburg’s Bahnhof Pauli on 14 October. Tickets are on sale now.
Schub built his reputation on London’s open-mic circuit. His debut single “Sing Like Madonna” became a streaming wunderkind, and a handful of EPs followed. Now he is drawing a line under those introductory releases and putting the finishing touches on his debut album, whose title and release date are currently unconfirmed.
