Sean Trelford and Kissing on Camera lead Best Fit's Bank Holiday party lineup at The George Tavern
Lifepath99, Kissing on Camera, Sean Trelford, Van Quan, Patchwork and Nico&Linus are set to play Best Fit's first ever Bank Holiday all-dayer on 24 May as we join forces with our friends at London's George Tavern.
Working alongside one of the capital's most iconic tastemaker venues, we're presenting a day of slacker indie, shoegaze pop, and math rock. True to The George Tavern and Best Fit's shared love of supporting the most exciting new artists at the very earliest stage, this will be an incredible day of discovery only to be experienced in person!
Nineteen-year-old Sean Trelford [lead photo] is one of the UK's most prodigious and prolific up-and-comers. Hailing from Cambridgeshire and trained in classical music and jazz, Trelford blends his unique technical prowess with alternative sensibilities, producing a style he often calls "acid classical." Now signed to Island Records, he released his debut EP Ulcer in the fall. Sean has also played Best Fit's own Five Day Forecast and is making an appearance at The Great Escape this week.

Hailing from Dublin but now based in London, post-hardcore outfit Kissing on Camera have become a mainstay of the city's underground live scene. Last year, the four-piece released their debut EP Baby Names, using shoegaze reference points to draw soft songwriting into an emo-adjacent sonic framework.
Listen: "Corner Couch"
Farnham post-punk outfit Van Quan have been bubbling up in and around London's DIY scene for the past few years. They're semi-regulars at The George, known for chaotic, angular guitars and noise rock antics.

Previously known mononymously as Bex, lifepath99 is the latest iteration of Bex Vines' musical project. Where she previously leaned into classic indie-rock and indie-twang, lifepath99 sees her pivot towards a greater exploration of shoegaze and indie-pop. The project represents a dedication to vulnerability and growth, and has already debuted its first shows at venues including MOTH Club and The Shacklewell Arms.
Led by Patraic O'Donnell, Patchwork blends emotive guitar work and songwriting with the bite of alt-folk and indie-rock perfect for fans of Bright Eyes, Alex G, or Sam Fender. O'Donnell debuted the project last November at The George and has since brought the material on a tour of London's key live hubs.

Breaking away from funk-inspired group oreglo, Nico&Linus is the new project of Nicco Rocco and Linus Barry. This date will be one of their first appearances as a duo.
Best Fit's Bank Holiday All-Dayer runs from 4pm-2am at The George Tavern on Sunday, 24 May with tickets priced at £6.
