Sean Trelford announces his debut EP, Ulcer
19-year-old artist Sean Trelford has announced the release of his debut EP, Ulcer, alongside sharing the new track, "Left Out".
Speaking of the new single, Sean Trelford says: “Left out is a song I wrote in June 2024 about feeling left out, I was in a social circle in school that spread nasty things about me and I felt very isolated and lonely. I made this song as a medicine for myself to deal with those feelings.”
“Ulcer is a concept EP about the pain of speech, of the voice, resentful feelings towards conflict that have failed only because of lacking conviction when it comes to persuasive words because most people don’t care about substance but sincerity. There is also love in this project but ‘where there is love there is pain’ - an ancient spanish guy. I wrote and recorded this EP entirely myself from ages 16-18, it is youthful and naive, this is a stepping stone for a more intricate colour and beauty I am desperately searching for as I make more music," he continues.
