Seafret announce new album, Fear of Emotion
Seafret has announced their fourth album, Fear of Emotion, and shared new single "Signal Fire".
Fear of Emotion will be the Yorkshire duo's first full-length release in three years, following their 2023 album Wonderland. "The songs on 'Fear of Emotion' grew out of everything we've lived through these past few years - the bright, beautiful moments and the shadows that came with them," Seafret explain of the album. "We didn't want a single track that didn't feel honest or rooted in something real, and we think we've captured that. Making this record has been a joy from start to finish. The collaborations have added a magic we couldn't have created alone."
"Signal Fire" is the first preview of the record, which the band say "was written as a reminder that help exists and you never have to face the darkness on your own." Continuing, they explain: "The story in the verses centres on a relationship, but we wanted the chorus to be more universal and reach beyond that."
Fear of Emotion is set for release on 27 March via Nettwerk
