Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar feature on new MILLENNIUM PARADE track, "Blue"
MILLENIUM PARADE — the creative collective led by Daiki Tsuneta (King Gnu) — have released their first new music in nearly two years, "Blue", featuring Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar.
Tsuneta and Gray first teamed up to make "Blue" three years ago, before Caesar joined the collaboration. The track is the ending theme for the TV anime series The Ghost in the Shell, and the first collaborative work to come from Caesar and Gray this year, following Caesar's album Son Of Spergy and Gray's SAYA, both released last year.
“This track ‘Blue’ was first created three years ago in the studio with Saya, and has reached its completion through Danny joining, whom I met while travelling," Tsuneta explains. "I’ve always admired the sheer talent of these two musicians, and the completed track has turned out to be truly incredible so I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Gray adds: “Working with Daniel and Daiki was spicy fun and the blending of worlds and cultures is very exciting.”
