Sam Smith announces Gloria The Blackout collaboration with Vivienne Westwood
British singer/songwriter Sam Smith has revealed their exclusive collaboration with Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood for Gloria The Blackout tour.
Smith and Kronthaler have been working on an collaboration for their rebooted Gloria The Blackout tour, where the entire wardrobe has been designed by the Vivienne Westwood creative director. A decade on from the release of their award winning multi-platinum selling debut album, the new live dates mark the start of a year long celebration for the ten year anniversary of, In The Lonely Hour, and will see Smith travelling across South America and Europe on their 24-date tour.
“It’s been a real experience for me and everybody at Westwood to get to know Sam and to make the looks for the Blackout shows. Sam has great energy and I am so pleased above all to have become a friend," says Andreas Kronthaler, whilst Smith adds: "When I think of British Fashion it has always been synonymous with the name Vivienne Westwood."
