Sam Fender joined by AC/DC’s Brian Johnson his at second St James’ Park gig
On the second night of his hometown St James' Park shows in Newcastle, this weekend, Sam Fender was joined on stage by Brian Johnson of AC/DC.
Sam Fender is currently embarking on an EU/UK tour which includes a string of headline shows and festival appearances.
Last night (11 June) at Newcastle's St. James' Park football stadium, Fender was joined by Brian Johnson to perform the AC/DC classics "Back In Black" and "You Shook Me All Night Long".
After introduced his former guitar teacher, Phil Martin, onto the stage and revealing to the crowd that they would perform two AC/DC songs, he said: "We cannot really do AC/DC songs without the one, the only Geordie legend, the singer of AC/DC, Brian Johnson!"
The surprise performance marked Brian Johnson's first live appearance since last year's Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at Wembley Stadium.
