salute joins forces with Peter Xan on new single, "gbesoke"
Manchester-based producer salute has returned with new single, "gbesoke", featuring vocals from Nigerian-British indie-rock artist Peter Xan.
The single marks their first new music of the year and follows their collaboration with Jessie Ware on "Heaven In Your Arms" and their debut album, TRUE MAGIC.
"Gbesoke originally came about during the making of my album, TRUE MAGIC, but it wasn't until after its release that the production clicked for me” salute comments. “With Peter Xan and I both having Nigerian heritage in common, it's sick to have his Yoruba roots shine through in the lyrics. "Gbesoke, lo le" is essentially a call to put your hands up and dance. We're really stoked to be able to share this one with you."
"gbesoke" is out now.
